In the context of the European funded project ResponSEAble, an initiative to adapt and develop innovative materials for training courses on sustainable fisheries has materialized. AZTIPROSEA and Mater have joined forces to adapt and develop these materials, with the collaboration of BLUENET that has specifically contributed to a session on marine litter generated at sea. On the week of the 28th of October, the complete course (covering environmental, social and economic sustainability) was delivered at the Escuela Nautica de Ondarroa with great success. This course is the first of this kind implemented in Spain, and BLUENET is pleased to have contributed to it.
